Welcome to my homepage!

My name is Ágnes Somogyi. I was a furniture mover since kindergarten, and I haven't outgrown it since! That is why I picked the name bútortologatás, which means moving furniture.

It happened once that my parents had to go away somewhere for a short time, and when they got back home, my room and the dining room looked completely different ... It would be impossible to count how many times I rearranged, redesigned, and repainted my homes while I lived there. I've stayed in my current home for 3 years, and the living room alone has had 5 colors and countless versions.

Since this buzz doesn't seem to be going away, I decided to swap my aimless corporate job for pursuing my passion for home staging, moving furniture and helping. Bringing also joy to those who either don't feel comfortable in their own homes and want to improve them, or to those who want to sell their most valuable asset, their property, in the most marketable condition.

I really enjoy designing kitchens, bathrooms, and living spaces, however home staging suits me better because I like the challenges and diversity of assignments, and by helping the owner put the buyer focused approach into practice, he can move on with his life faster and with more money in his pocket.

Unlike interior design, a home stager works from a specific budget, which is usually 1-3% of the selling value of the property, in the case of investments, the expenditure can exceed 10% of the property value.

My goal is to turn an unsellable property into a saleable one, and a good one into an excellent one, to everyone's satisfaction, considering which value-adding activities are necessary or worth doing, which will pay off multiple times during the sale.

I started working at the age of 14, during summer holidays. Like everyone else around the lake Balaton, I worked in hospitality, I got into pastry making, and experienced the world of Mexican foods. I collected several certificates. I am a tour guide, logistician, nutritional consultant, and interior designer. I speak and worked in 3 languages: English, German, and Spanish. I spent dozens of years at multinational companies, where I started as an accountant, then later I switched to IT. I ensured that the revenue of the listed company arrived from every country in the world, that the parts for the cars arrived at the plants, or that the annual stock exchange report could be prepared in a 12-dimensional system and be published on time at the New York Stock Exchange, but two things are absolutely certain!

1: Only LIFE teaches you about life!

2: After more than 30 years of trying, for the first time in my life, I am finally doing what I love passionately!
